Why are Murphy O'Rawe fundraising for NICFC?

Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children provides practical, emotional, social and financial support to children and young people living with a cancer diagnosis in Northern Ireland.  Murphy O'Rawe's support will enable NICFC to continue its valuable work, supporting children diagnosed with cancer from the ages of 0-24 years.  Visit www.nicfc.com

Did you know that every week in Northern Ireland, three more children, teenagers or young adults will be diagnosed with cancer.   Below is how the money raised by Murphy O'Rawe can be best used:-

£30 covers a worker to provide a family caring for a child with cancer with practical and emotional support

£50 would allow a child with cancer to spend a weekend at 'Narnia' the NICFC's log cabin to help rebuild their confidence and meet other children living with cancer

£200 can provide a Home Heating Grant for a family nursing a child with cancer

£300 will pay for a family to stay at Shimna Valley - it's a getaway from hospitals and treatment regimes for families to have some must needed respite breaks

£500 provide Travel for a treatment grant for a family needing to travel outside NI for specialist treatment

£1000 allows 24 children to attend a life-skills residential in Narnia, helping them regain self confidence and making lasting friendships
