Turn the TV on??

Police officers are already excused wearing seatbelts as they may need to leave a vehicle quickly in the event of an emergency. But, from 31st October 2014 Police officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) and Driver and Vehicle Agency (DVA) Enforcement Staff will be permitted to view live television screens while driving, for law enforcement purposes. This will assist  in locating other vehicles, and the detection and apprehension of criminals.
